Jane Humphrey's work evolved from her belief that early founders of the British Isles were great civilisers and possessed knowledge of mathematical forms and understood how to use this knowledge within their religious sites such as Avebury and Stonehenge. She is a graduate of the Royal Academy, a long established member of the London Group, and is well known for her detailed and refined abstract images. These have evolved through the digital process into map forms which inform the viewer about the remaining rural sites in England, as well as the politics surrounding their creation and survival.
